Tackling The Tough Issues

We have reached a point in our society where most people avoid discussing political issues, and when they do, rarely seem to do so in a civil manner.  Most topics are labeled "too controversial" in order to stifle discussion and honest debate.  In an effort to provide a place where these important issues are considered in a civil manner, we started this blog. 

Here, at the Layman's Quill, we don't Blog about the weather! We purposely select the most controversial issues of the day.  As our name implies, we are not experts in political chicanery nor are we trained spin masters.  We are merely laymen in every sense of the word, but armed with a quill, so to speak.   The faint of heart should turn back now.
